Jimmie Ruth Baugh Wade, age 91, of Alto, Georgia passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at her residence.

Mrs. Wade was born on March 10, 1931 in Hall County, Georgia to the late John Ernest Baugh and Lillie Mae Croy Baugh. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years, Alonzo Judge Wade; her son, Ernie Keith Wade; and grandson, Darrin Keith Ramey; brother and sister-in-law, Lemar and Bonnie Baugh; brother, Arvil Baugh; Carl Baugh, all of Lula; sister, Eva Betty Collins, of Alto;

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and Willie Nix, of Carnesville; Robin and Jimmy Smith, of Demorest; son and caretaker, Johnny Ray Wade and Barbara Barrett, of Alto; son and daughter-in-law, Walter and Debbie Wade, of Alto; grandchildren, Jamie and Dawn Nix, Joey Nix and Robin, Angel Jordan, Jalene Smith, Shelia Ramey, and Bobby Ayers; great grandchildren, Warren and Sarah Nix, Bryan and Shelby Nix, Nicole Thomas, Shawn Ramey, Travis Ramey, Emma Jordan, Shauna Ayers, Destiny Ayers; great-great grandchildren, Ivey Nix, Emma Jordan, Weston Ramey, Valerie Shaw, and one on the way. brother and sister-in-law, Eddie “Spanky” and Kathleen Baugh; sister-in-law, Lucille Baugh; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 26, 2022 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel with Pastor Scott Ledbetter and Pastor Stacey Baugh officiating. Interment will follow in the Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 24, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday, June 25, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
