(Cleveland)- It’s that magic graduation day for White County High School students. The ceremony will get underway at 8 PM tonight at White County High School Stadium.

White County Superintendent of Schools Dr. Laurie Burkett said close to 250 students will be receiving their diplomas during the ceremony. Dr. Burkett says some folks don’t have a child graduating, but they come out to help celebrate accomplishments.

Mary Anne Collier, White County High School Principal said, “This group of kids, they all have worked really hard it’s a close-knit group, very competitive against one another which I think has pushed them to just excel in so many different areas.  A lot of them have so many great plans to either go straight into the workforce or to attend school somewhere or the military, we just have a lot of kids investing in that next step in their lives and so we are really excited for them. It’s just a special time for them and their families they have worked so hard for this.”

For those attending you are reminded that the high school parking lot is reserved for graduating seniors, handicapped, law enforcement, media, and high school staff. Regular parking will be at Tesnatee Gap Elementary School and the White County Soccer Complex next to TGAP.  Shuttle buses will transport you to and from the high school.
