(Cleveland)- The White County Sheriff’s Office and Georgia Bureau of Investigation are probing the death of a 66 year old White County man.
Sheriff’s Department Chief Deputy Bob Ingram said, they were notified by 9-1-1 dispatch around 6 PM Wednesday. Ingram said, “ the body of Wayne Alexander 66 year old male was discovered deceased at his residence, 30 Craven Road.”
Ingram said the death is being investigated as a homicide and is in the preliminary stage at this time. The body was taken to the state crime laboratory in Atlanta for an autopsy.
Ingram said they don’t want to release further information at this time, pending the release of autopsy results.
