(CLEVELAND) – The reigning Appalachian Athletic Conference softball co-pitcher of the year, Karley Hobbs, earned her fourth AAC weekly award of her sophomore season, announced the league Monday.
 
Hobbs led the No. 16 Lady Bears to two more AAC wins against Bluefield College and St. Andrews University last week. Hobbs allowed two earned runs over the course of 14 innings and struck out 13 while walking a total of three batters. Hobbs still needs the AAC with an ERA of .80 (1.18 overall) and leads holding her opponents to a batting average of .179 (.186 overall).
 
The sophomore ranks first in the nation in wins (27) and remains undefeated through all 201.1 innings she has pitched this season.
