(Cleveland)- The White County  Board of Commissioners has announced they will hold a special meeting to receive public comment regarding proposed amendments to the White County Land Use Ordinance related to short term rentals and permitted uses in R1, A1, C1, and C2 Districts within the unincorporated area of White County – as well as procedural changes for Public Hearings related to land use issues.

That meeting will be June 4th at 4 PM in the county administration building off the Helen Highway north of Cleveland.   

Copies of the proposed amendments are available at the White County Board of Commissioners Office or online at www.whitecounty.net.

The commissioners have canceled their May 27th work session ( Government offices closed for Memorial Day) and the June 3, regular meeting.
