(Cleveland)- The City of Cleveland council has a called meeting set for tonight Monday)  at 6:30 PM.  The meeting moved from Monday due to the Fourth of July holiday.

During the meeting City administrator, Kevin Harris is expected to present to the council information about placing a referendum question about the package sale of distilled spirits on a November ballot.

The council was asked back in February to consider allowing the package sale of distilled spirits, such as liquor by former business owner Ed Ward. Ward, the former owner of JW Reed’s Tavern, which burned in 2019, said that the site would be a good location to host a package store.

The meeting will be held in the Cleveland Community Center/Police Department at 342 Campbell Street.
