Dr. David Drake, Truett McConnell University (R) receives 75- Anniversary proclamation from Mayor Josh Turner.
(Cleveland)- The Cleveland City Council has approved a resolution designating July 23rd as Truett McConnell University 75th Anniversary Day. During their meeting, Monday night, Mayor Josh Turner read the resolution that recognized the 75 years of contributions made by the school.
Dr. David Drake, Director of Alumni and Church Relations at TMU was at the meeting and told the council that on July 23rd, the day that Truett McConnell became an institution they will have a brief ceremony on the campus to recognize that, but he said it will actually be a year-long celebration.
