(Cleveland)- The City of Cleveland has amended their business regulation and licensing ordinance that will mean most businesses will pay a base free fee of $110 with an additional $25 dollar fee for each employee.
Businesses with 50 or more employees will be assessed a base fee of $1,335 with $10 for each additional employee. The new business license fees include an administration fee for processing.
The new fees schedule became effective Monday following public hearing on the issue and approval by the city council.
Cleveland’s Occupational Tax ordinance was originally established in 1994.
