(Cleveland)-Here is information from a news release from White County Caring and Sharing.

White County Caring & Sharing plans to accept applications for assistance as scheduled on Monday, March 30, from 10 to 11:30 a.m., at Cleveland First Baptist Church, 25 Church St., Cleveland.

Revised procedures are to be implemented to allow continued ability to serve those in need while taking appropriate health and safety precautions. These are to include stationing of an application table beneath the canopy outside the main entrance, with applicants to complete forms in their cars and return them to a designated box in order to maintain social distancing.

Leadership of the not-for-profit service organization recognizes the importance of sustaining the program of emergency assistance with rent, utilities and other critical basic needs in these unprecedented times.

Applicants with proof of at least three months of White County residency and original bills and/or landlord letters may qualify for assistance once per six-month period, with a lifetime limit of three assists per household.
