(Cleveland)- The City of Cleveland Monday afternoon issued a Boil Water Notice due to a water main break at the Thunder Ridge Subdivision, on Highway 115 East of Cleveland.

Andrea Smith, Water Distribution Operator for City of Cleveland Public Works advised that the notice will only affect the City of Cleveland water customers located in the Thunder Ridge Subdivision area. Residents in this area will notice a loss of water or water pressure while the line is being repaired.

This notice is required by EPD when water pressure drops below 20 PSI (pounds per square inch). The boiled water is for drinking purposes or you can use bottled water until bacteriological samples can be collected and tested. Water needs to be boiled until the City lifts the notice.

The City will notify the media as soon as test results are received.
