(Cleveland)- Four White County Special Olympic athletes participated in the Area 2 Games that were held at Riverside Military Academy in Gainesville this past Tuesday.
White County Special Olympics Chairperson Sharon Brown said four athletes brought home awards they include; CJ McGuire who won a silver and a 4th place ribbon, Carter Cruce who captured two gold medals, Joey Rivard two gold and Shaun Smith a gold and a bronze medal.
These four and two other athletes will be participating in the state competition May 17th and 18th at Emory in Atlanta.
