(Cleveland)- White County Superintendent of Schools Dr. Laurie Burkett has advised that they are monitoring the current weather conditions and are in touch with our local Emergency Management Agency regarding road conditions and road closures. Burkett says at this time, we are planning for a normal school day Tuesday. According to Burkett if road conditions are unsafe in your area, please err on the side of safety.
The following school systems have closed schools for Tuesday, Feb. 11:
- Gilmer County
- Habersham County
- Union County
The following school systems are operating on a two-hour delay for Tuesday
- Dawson County
- Banks County
- Franklin County
- Lumpkin County
- Towns County Schools
