(GAINESVILLE)- The Georgia Department of Transportation advises motorist using State Route 11/ US 129 near Gainesville there will be a single lane closures on that road, at Longstreet Bridge, today (Thursday) until 3 p.m. and tomorrow from 9 AM until 3 PM.
Katie Strickland GDOT Spokeswoman said the closure is necessary to allow the installation of concrete barrier.
Strickland also said on Monday, a concrete caisson, or support structure for the new Bells Mill Bridge will close a lane from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. You are urged to slow down when entering the work zone.
