Richard Russell Scenic Highway
(Cleveland)- The big clean up work continues following Tropical Storm Irma and as part of that cleanup operation the Georgia Department of Transportation advises they will close State Route 384, also known as Richard B. Russell Scenic Highway Tuesday and Wednesday ( September 26 and 27th) from 7 AM until 5 PM each day.
The 11 mile roadway in White and Union County is effected.
A GDOT press statement said, the closure of the highway will allow the removal of trees and clean up of storm debris to happen faster and safer.
