(Cleveland)- The White County Board of Education has approved the 2017-18 school calendar. The first day of classes for students will be August 9th and the last day will be May 25th. Students will have 5 days for Thanksgiving and 8 days for Christmas break.
The school solicited input on two different versions of the calendar and Superintendent Dr. Jeff Wilson said they received overwhelming support from both teachers and parents for Version one, which was approved by the board at their Thursday night meeting.
