(Cleveland)- Weather and local officials are advising of possible black ice on north Georgia roadways tonight through early Friday morning. National Weather Service forecasters say Roads and bridges may become slick making travel hazardous.

Wet surfaces or runoff from recent heavy rainfall may freeze as temperatures drop below freezing. Areas that will be

especially susceptible to black ice are elevated roadways, off-ramps, shaded areas, areas prone to runoff of water and secondary roads. Motorist should be on the alert through 10 AM Friday.
