(Columbus)- The White County Lady Warriors came out with determination Wednesday night during the second round of the State Basketball Playoffs, but it wasn’t enough to hold back the Carver High School Tigers.
White County was the first to put points on the board but the Lady Tigers answered back and kept building their lead, ending the first half with double the points of the Warriors, 28-14.
The Lady Warriors entered the second half fighting hard but it proved to just not be enough to overcome the deficit that had built up in the first half and White County fell to the Tigers in the final 66 to 49.
