(Cleveland)- In a follow-up report from Tropical Storm Zeta in White County  Public Safety Director David Murphy reports all debris assessments have been completed.  Murphy said, “We estimated around 5,500 cubic yards of debris on county right of ways.

According to Murphy, several residents have self-reported damages, all of which are covered by insurance. Several private property issues reported and those individuals have been provided a hotline number for assistance. Two individuals were turned over to the Red Cross for assistance.

Murphy said they are waiting on Georgia Emergency Management Agency to make a decision for declaration and a decision on activating the debris contract.

During his presentation, Monday night to the Cleveland City Council, City Administrator Tom O’Bryant said their assessment of debris in the city found 1,200 cubic yards of tree and limb debris from the latest storm.  O’Bryant said the city will be working closely with the county to get that cleaned up.
