Zelda Morgan Waller, age 87, of Clarkesville, Georgia passed away on Friday, September 20, 2019.

Mrs. Waller born in Birmingham Alabama on August 27, 1932. She was preceded in death by her husband Jim Waller, her parents; John and Evelyn Tucker Morgan. and brother Jimmy. Zelda was devoted to her family, friends and church. She always had a smile for everyone and never judged others. She was strong, proud and playful. Everyone loved to be close to her. She was a faithful Christian and beloved member of the Clarkesville Presbyterian Church where she served in many roles. Her presence in the church will be sorely missed. Zelda retired from Delta Airlines and afterwards moved to Clarkesville Georgia from the Atlanta area. She became very involved in her community. She served for years on the Habersham Medical Center Hospital Auxiliary, was President and received the Jack Courson Volunteer of the Year Award. Zelda was a devoted Eastern Star where she served as Grand Marshal, District Grand Deputy and Grand Matron.

Mrs. Waller will lie in state at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel in Demorest from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 24th, 2019 and from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 25th 2019.

Graveside Services will be held at Yonah Memorial Gardens at 9:30 a.m., Thursday, September 26, 2019.

A Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 a.m., at the First Presbyterian Church of Clarkesville with Rev. Matt Henderson officiating.

The family will accept friends following the memorial service at a reception in the fellowship hall of the church.
