wintry-mix(Cleveland)- Weather forecasters say extreme Northeast Georgia may see a mix of rain and snow  late  Wednesday night  and early Thanksgiving Day.  Forecasters with the National Weather Service in Peachtree City say, a fairly strong short  wave will move north of the state and it should be able to squeeze out at least a few scattered showers across far north Georgia overnight.

Temperatures will be cool enough by mid to late evening for a wintery mixture of rain and snow across the far northern counties. It could become all snow in the highest elevations by sunrise, but the precipitation will taper off quickly.  Additionally the forecasters say the temperatures are expected to hover around the freezing mark for a while early Thursday  morning with some light accumulations possible in the higher elevations.

The ground temperatures are expected to be relatively mild so any accumulation will not stay around long.

Here in the Cleveland area we do not expect any frozen precipitation or accumulation.
