(Cleveland)- White County voters who have not already cast a ballot in the early voting process have an opportunity to vote in their party’s primary by casting a ballot today, as all voting precincts in the county will be open.  Locally White County voters have an opportunity to choose candidates vying for two offices that have opposition. 

On the Republican ballot for Board of Education District 4, there are three candidates seeking that position,  Linda Erbele, the incumbent, James King, and Laurin Terry.   Voters county-wide can cast ballots in that race. 

Also on the Republican ballot two candidates are seeking the White County Board of Commission  District 2 seat, they include Lyn Holcomb-the incumbent and Debora Palmer.  Mike DeVincentis is unopposed as a Democratic candidate for County Commission District 2. 

In addition, Edwin Nix is unopposed for District 3 White County Board of Commissioners and John Solmon has no opposition for District 2 Board of Education. 

Polls around the county are open from 7 AM until 7 PM today.  Akyn Bailey, White County Elections Supervisor reminds voters of the following voting location changes: The Nacoochee Polling Place will be relocated from the Sautee Nacoochee Community Association (SNCA) Conference Room to the Sautee Nacoochee Community Association Community Hall.  The Mount Yonah Polling Place has been relocated from Cleveland First Baptist Church to The Bridge Church located at 607 Hulsey Rd. The Robertstown Precinct has been combined with the Helen Precinct located at Helen City Hall and will be known as the Roberstown-Helen Precinct.
