(Cleveland)- This week’s COVID-19 report from White County Schools released Wednesday has  8 students reported positive with COVID-19, 88 students have been quarantined for possible exposure.  One staff member reported positive with 7 staff quarantined for possible exposure.

These figures are designed to inform parents and the public about how the Coronavirus is affecting the school system. 

School officials say they will continue to work to ensure the safety of our students and staff.

The Georgia Department of Public Health information released yesterday shows 598 cases of Coronavirus in White County, which is an increase of 134 for the past two weeks, which indicates a slower pace than we have seen in a week or so.  There have been 16 deaths related to the virus.
