(Cleveland)- White County School students will head back to classes Wednesday, but with several roads in the county that have travel issues, it could be a change for students and or parents. 

White County School Assistant Superintendent Scott Justus issued the following information.

If you live on any of the following roads please note your child’s alternative pickup and drop off until your road is made passable for buses.

Howard Road  –  Parents meet the bus at the intersection of Albert Reid Road

Harkins Road – Parents meet the bus at the intersection of HWY 129

Kellum Valley Road – Parents meet the bus at the intersection of Hwy 129

Boca Hills Road – Parents meet the bus at the intersection of Asbestos Road

Mauldin Road – Parents meet the bus at the intersection of Albert Reid Road

Joe Black Road – Parents meet the bus at the intersection of Asbestos Road

Bean Creek Road – Parents meet the bus at the intersection of Hwy 255

Sky Lake Road collapsing – Buses will not go down that road – Parents meet the bus at Sky Lake Subdivision entrance

Highway 356 from Vanderfer to 75 –  Parents meet the bus at the intersection of Hwy 75 

Alternate Hwy 75 (Baracades) – Parents meet the bus at the intersection of Asbestos Road 

Red Road and Bolton Road at HWY 284 are being paved during the afternoon release. Buses may not be able to go down the road – Meet Bus at HWY 284

Justis said, ” If you are not able to get your child to the designated pickup spot please notify your child’s school so they will not be given an unexcused absence. We are sorry for the inconvenience and hope these roads are cleared very soon so buses can once again pick up and drop off at their regularly designated spot. Thank you!”
