Cleveland – The White County Library updated it’s closure announcement Thursday in an email statement from Michael Humphrey, Program Manager for the White County Public Libraries.

Both libraries closed top the public beginning on March 16th and the announcement stated the closure would remain in effect until at least April 3rd.

The statement said that the BOOK DROP IS CLOSED, and all overdue fines will be waived until they return to the library, so there is no need to try and return any books that may be due.

Humphrey also asks that patrons do not bring books to the library and leave them at the door. Books left outside may incur damage and patrons will be billed for any damage to materials. We are trying not to introduce any books back into our collection as the books currently in the building are being cleaned, according to Humphrey.

Humphrey said that the staff is on-site and can be reached by phone (706-865-5572) if needed.
