(Sautee)- With the help of some hefty rain showers in the last week of so, WRWH weather reporter Bill Kinsalnd reports that White County has accumulated a surplus in year to date rainfall. Bill advises as of Monday the county has received 35.90 inches of rain, that is 1-point 81 inches above normal.

Last week the average rainfall from the three county weather station was 4.29 inches. That is 105 percent of the normal year-to- date rainfall.

According to the data, as of Monday, Helen has received the most rainfall this year with 37.67 inches, Cleveland is second with 35.27 inches and Sautee weather station recorded 34.77 inches.
