(Cleveland)- On Thursday of this week White County conducted the Risk Limiting Audit, as ordered by the Secretary of State.

White County Elections Supervisor Jody Davis said, the audit comprised of hand counting two randomly selected batches of ballots, one from the Tesnatee Precinct and a batch of the Absentee by Mail ballots.

Davis said the three political parties with candidates in the race for Secretary of State, Democratic, Libertarian, and Republican, were invited to participate.

The audit took two hours to complete and there were no issues.

Davis said, “ our counts equaled the tallied results from election night.”
