(Cleveland)- This week, White County Animal Control received a nice donation from White County Middle School.

In September at a meeting of their Flag Marshals club, they decided to organize a community outreach project. With this inaugural drive, they chose to do a supply drive for items needed in our Animal Shelter. They were able to collect food, blankets, treats, and toys for the animals.

In addition to the supplies, the Modern Woodmen of the World contributed a monetary donation of $500. The amount raised in supplies and monetary donations totaled $1,383.00.

Division Chief Don Strength said, “We thank White County Middle School’s Flag Marshal Club for organizing this drive. These students went above and beyond to benefit this need in the community. These supplied and the monetary donation is greatly appreciated.”
