(Oakwood) The White County Warriors finished the 2015 baseball season with an 18-2 victory over Johnson on Thursday night in Oakwood. It only took the Warriors four innings to complete the run-rule victory as they scored four runs in the 1st, nine in the 2nd, and five in the 4th. Everybody in the White County starting lineup got at least one hit and scored at least one run.

White County seniors did most of the damage in their last game in a Warrior uniform. Stetson Gearin and Chris Jackson led the way with four hits and four RBIs a piece. Gearin also added three runs scored and Jackson had two triples. Jason Ward added three hit, two RBIs, and three runs scored. Joel Pritchett went 2 for 4 with two runs scored. Ethan Ramey had a hit and three RBIs. Parker Applewhite went 1 for 2 with two RBI and two runs scored. Tray Gearin added a hit and three runs scored. Jay Taylor also had a hit and an RBI. Trey Allen went 1 for 2 with a run scored. Chris Brock came on in the 3rd inning and had a walk and sac fly RBI. Stetson Cheeks also came in as a sub and had a hit and run scored. White County finished with 18 hits.

John Henry Mullis pitched all four innings for the Warriors. He struck out ten Johnson batters while only allowing four hits and two runs to pick up the win.

White County finished 8-8 in region 8-AAAA play and 10-15 overall. Their season is now complete.
