(DAHLONEGA) – The University of North Georgia women’s soccer program and head coach Kayley Ralton have announced the schedule of matches for the 2021 season. The 16-match schedule includes seven matches at the UNG Soccer Complex at Lynn Cottrell Park.

After beginning the season on the road at Carson-Newman on September 2, the Nighthawks will play host to West Georgia on September 8 in the first of three non-conference matchups at home. UNG will also host Lenoir-Rhyne on September 22 and Emmanuel on October 8.

The Peach Belt schedule begins on the road on September 18 under the lights at Young Harris in a Battle of Blood Mountain matchup. After a trip to Albany State a week later, North Georgia will begin a three match homestand starting with USC Aiken on September 29. Georgia College comes to Dahlonega on October 2 before finishing up the homestand against Emmanuel.

The Nighthawks will wrap up the home portion of the schedule by hosting Flagler and Columbus State on October 16 and 20, respectively. Both the Saints and Cougars were ranked in the final United Soccer Coaches poll of the spring season.

North Georgia went 7-3 in the spring 2021 shortened season and hosted a Peach Belt Conference semifinal matchup in Dahlonega.
