(DAHLONEGA) – The University of North Georgia men’s golf team will open up the 2020-21 season Monday when they compete in the Camden Invitational, hosted by Limestone at Camden Country Club.

The Nighthawks will compete against USC Aiken, Valdosta State, Lee, Southern Wesleyan, Montevallo, Piedmont, Georgia Southwestern, Greensboro, Young Harris, Lander and Flagler. On the first day of the tournament, UNG will play 36 holes with the Saints and Mountain Lions.

UNG returns most of their experience from the 2019-20 season, led by senior Grant Crowell who had a 73.5 stroke average last year. That average was third-best on the team behind Tanner Merck (72.2) and Evan Thompson (73.4).
