(Cleveland) – Two suspects were taken into custody Saturday evening following an armed robbery that occurred at the Chevron Convenience Store on East Kytle Street in Cleveland.

Lt Donna Sims with the Cleveland Police Department in a press statement said officers responded to the call at 6:24 PM.  She said they were advised that a male suspect entered the store displayed two firearms and demanded money and then left the scene getting into a
small white car with a female driver with dark hair.  

A description of the suspects and the vehicle involved was given out and officers with the Habersham County Sheriff’s office made a stop on the vehicle a short time later.

Lt. Sims said a male and female were detained for responding units from Cleveland Police.

She identified the male suspect as  22-year old Giovanni E. Annucci-Romero, of a New Jersey address. The female subject was identified as 22-year old Terrisa Thammavongra  of Alto. Both suspects were booked into the White County Detention Center.

Sims advised that the money and guns were recovered during the arrest.

No one was injured during the incident.
