(AUBURN, Ala.) – On Saturday-Sunday, the Truett McConnell University cycling team traveled to compete in their second race of the 2023 season at Auburn University, where three Bears secured two podium finishes.
Avery Vanlaar once again showed her grit, as she secured first in the Women’s Short Track and second in the Women’s Cross Country for the second race in a row. Hollis Webb secured a first-place finish with a stellar performance in the Women’s Dual Slalom. In the Men’s Downhill, Jake Hutcheson was capable of finishing in fifth followed by a sixth place finish in the Men’s Dual Slalom.
Up next, the Bears will travel to Camp Thunder in Molena, Ga. on Saturday, Sept. 16 – Sunday, Sept. 17.
