(HELEN) – A single-vehicle wreck shortly after 10:30 p.m. Monday night injured three people just outside Helen. The crash happened on Georgia Highway 356 near Clayton Road, a short distance from Georgia Highway 75 at Robertstown, and involved a silver Nissan Altima.
A medical helicopter from Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta was called and landed in Helen to pick up one of the victims of the wreck.
The wreck closed Georgia Highway 356 between Robertstown and Unicoi until just after 1 a.m. Tuesday.
White County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the wreck and additional details were not available at the scene.
