Habersham – A search of a Mt. Airy home on Monday resulted in multiple arrests on drug trafficking and possession charges, according to a news release from SAC Trent Hillsman with the GBIAppalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office.

The release states that a search warrant was executed on Monday at 300 Jud Pitts Rd in Mt. Airy. During the search officials located five grams of Methamphetamine, approximately 20 grams of Marijuana, two firearms along with approximately $6,000 in bulk U.S. Currency. All of which were seized as evidence in a drug trafficking investigation that began back in February of 2020.

A vehicle, motorcycle, and three four-wheelers were also seized from the property where the search warrant was executed.

The Habersham County Sheriff’s Office, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Mt. Airy Police Department, and the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office were all involved in the search.

The investigation is still active and ongoing, and the ARDEO encourages citizens to report any suspicious drug activity.

Thomas Blair Carter, age 55, of Mt. Airy
     1 count criminal conspiracy trafficking
     6 counts sale Methamphetamine
     6 counts trafficking Methamphetamine

Jennifer Marie Sullivan, age 35, of Mt. Airy
     1 possession of Methamphetamine
     1 possession of Marijuana
