(Cleveland)- White County Deputies made quite a haul Thursday night while patrolling the county. 

According to Sheriff Rick Kelley, the officers while on patrol initiated three separate traffic stops resulting in 3-drug arrests, the seizure of over 40 grams of Methamphetamine, and two firearms.

Kelley identified those arrested and the charges they face as; 42-year-old Edwin Henry Johncox Jr. of Eastanolle. He was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine Crossing a Guard line with weapon or drugs. 50-year-old Marcus Fred Franklin of Gainesville charged with Possession of Methamphetamine. And Clay Michael Tate of Murrayville age 35, who faces charges of Operating a vehicle without revalidation decal, Possession of Methamphetamine, and two counts of Possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

Sheriff Kelley said, “the deputies involved did an outstanding job. These arrests are a result of the White County Sheriff’s deputies being proactive and thorough in their duties. These actions show the dedication and determination that our deputies have in serving our community.”
