Pastor Patrick Ballington talking about Be-Rich campaign

(Cleveland)- With only a few days until Thanksgiving, the members at the Bridge Church in Cleveland have just finished a Be-Rich campaign which encompasses the thoughts of to do good,  be rich in good deeds and willing to share.

To that end, the church dedicated this past Sunday’s service to share some of their riches and handed out $40,000 in donations to 15 different community organizations.  Those organizations include Family Promise, Jericho House, Caring Hands Ministries, Catalyst Christian Learning Center, Fellowship of Christian Athletics, His Hands and Feet Ministries, Freedom Hill House, The Right Recovery, Sacred Roots Farm, Sleep in Heavenly Peace, Cleveland Care Center, Backpack Buddies and other school projects.  Additionally, Pastor Patrick Ballington said they have donated $75,000 to 12 global ministry partners and people in need.

Pastor Patrick Ballington told the church, “ we have been labeled for what we are against, we need to show what we are for. ” Ballington continued to share with the congregation about other sharing projects, like teaming up with the Torch Church in Demorest to pay off $1.5 Million in medical debt of people in White, Habersham Lumpkin, and other northeast Georgia counties through the services of RIP Medical Debt Relief,  for those who were unable to pay.

But that’s not all, the church through the generosity of its members was able to present one of their new members, who had a need for transportation for work, the keys to a used vehicle.

Ballington said when they do special things like this and another need comes up in a few weeks he hesitates at first but brings it to the church,“yet when I do they just go over the top and it really does speak to the transformation God does in their hearts,”  He said.
