Terry Randolph Carroll, age 77, of Cleveland, Georgia formerly of Hall County, Georgia passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2022.
Mr. Carroll was born on February 13, 1945 in Hall County, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Frances Carroll and Charlie Gunter; brothers, James Gunter, Jerry Lee Gunter; sister, Sarah “Sissy” Carter. Terry was very fond of cats, especially his black tuxedo kitty, Trixie. He was known and loved by many who had the privilege of being part of his life.
Survivors include his sister, Diane Slater, of Lula; brother, Ricky Gunter, of Lula; cousins and caregivers, Larry and Pauletta Tilson, of Demorest; Stephen Tilson, of Fairplay, SC; and Jeremy Tilson, of Commerce; and many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to his host-family, Dan and Becky Callahan, of Cleveland, AVITA Services of Demorest, and The Staff of Friendship Health and Rehab of Cleveland.
Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, August 13, 2022 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel with Rev. Larry Dyer and Rev. Stephen Tilson officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery in Lula.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday, August 12, 2022 at the funeral home.
