A junior forward from Flowery Branch, Georgia, Sutton was a second-team All-Conference selection last season, and she was also named the 2019 NCAA Southeast Regional Tournament Most Outstanding Player. A PBC Player of the Week last season, she was tied for fifth in the league in rebounding and was second in field goals made, third in field goal percentage and third in blocks.

Sutton scored 20 or more in 10 games with a season-high 30 against Lees-McRae and had eight double-doubles. She has been twice named to the PBC Presidential Honor Roll, and she was also named All-Academic last season.
