(Cleveland)- White County fire investigators are probing an early morning blaze that destroyed a residents Tuesday morning. White County Public Safety Director David Murphy said, “ A neighbor called 9-1-1 to report the blaze at 735 Holiness Campground Road at 4:47 AM.”
Arriving units found fire in the first floor of the house. According to Murphy, there were people in the home at the time, “ there were at least four occupants to the house, one had to be transported for smoke inhalation, but all injuries are minor, said Murphy.
The American Red Cross was called to assist the residents with immediate needs.
Murphy said fire investigators are looking for the cause, but added “ there are some suspicious nature to the fire.” Several White County fire units, Cleveland Fire Department and the lady fire fighters from Lee Arrendale Correction Facility responded.
