White County Family Connection would like to invite you to participate in the 4th annual White County Shop with a Cop event. This is a partnership between our organization, the South Enotah Child Advocacy Center, Cleveland Police Department, Helen Police Department, the White County Sheriff’s Office, and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation where children from low- income families are given a $200 gift card and paired with an officer to shop around Walmart for items for themselves and their families for Christmas.

The first $100 must be spent on clothes for themselves, while the second $100 can be spent on items for their family members, toys, etc. The purpose of this event is two-fold; to provide Christmas to families in White County as well as to increase the relationships between law enforcement and the community.

Because of limited funding this year we are currently only able to serve 20 children and we believe, in light of COVID, children need this more than ever. We are hoping you would consider partnering with us financially so that we can serve our goal of 40 children!

The event is scheduled to take place on Thursday, December 17th, and Friday, December 18th, at the Cleveland Walmart. We ask that you would consider making a monetary donation for our event to help us bring Christmas to White County children!

Donations can be mailed to ATTN: Cheyenne Thornton at 136 Warriors Path, Cleveland, GA 30528— We greatly appreciate any and all support for the 4th annual Shop with a Cop.
