The Truett-McConnell Volleyball team is proud to announce the recent signing of outside hitter, Carley Serrentino. As the newest member of the incoming 2015 class, Serrentino will graduate in May from Luella High School. Serrentino was named her team’s Most Valuable Player her freshman and sophomore years and made First Team All-Area her junior and senior years.

As team captain, Serrentino was named Player of the Year in both 2013 and 2014. She was also the Henry Neighbor Newspaper Female Athlete of the Week in October 2014. Serrentino plans to pursue a degree in Early Childhood Education while enrolled at Truett-McConnell.

“Serrentino is a great addition to our upcoming crop of talented freshmen,” said Head Coach Melody Tenney. “She’s extremely athletic, and she’s already played together alongside of another future Bears’ Volleyball commitment, Katie Russell. As a result, we should definitely benefit early on from the chemistry several of these girls already have established with one another on the court.”
