(Sautee)- The Sautee Nacoochee Community Association (SNCA) is pleased to present the officers and
members of the 2021-2022 Board of Directors. They were announced at SNCA’s 2021 Annual Meeting,
which was held May 2.

The 2024 class of board members include Eugene Caso and Michael Yarbrough.

Gene Caso of Sautee has been a regular attendee of and participant in SNC programs since moving
to White County in 2016. He is a believer in the “specialness” of SNC and is an advocate for its mission.
Gene is retired from a career in state and federal labor and employment services.

Mike Yarbrough has a genuine desire to promote and help facilitate the growth and outreach of
SNCA. He lives in Sautee and is retired from 42 years of private practice in general dentistry. Mike is
currently involved in several local organizations and agencies.

The 2021 class of board members who have completed their terms include the following: John
Erbele of Sautee, Steve Gibson of Clarkesville, Helen Fincher Hardman of Cleveland, and Ann C. Willis of
Clarkesville.

The officers who will lead the 2021-2022 Board of Directors are Alan M. Hall of Sautee,
President, Suzanne Marie Brosche of Dahlonega, 1 st Vice-President, Kathryn Vazquez of Clarkesville, 2 nd
Vice-President, Eugenia L. Foster of Cleveland, Treasurer, and Emily DeFoor of Sautee, Secretary.

Other members of the SNCA 2021-2022 Board of Directors are: Craig Bryant of Cleveland, John
V. Davis of Sautee, Linda E. Harris of Sautee, Steve Lundeen of Cleveland, Bruce Martin of Sautee,
Michael J. Melton of Sautee and Jon Schwartz of Clarkesville.

Members of the Board of Directors serve three-year terms. In serving on the Board they commit
time and effort, set policy, formulate plans, raise money, manage resources, support programs, enhance
SNCA’s relationship with the community and support the work of the director.

The Sautee Nacoochee Community Association is celebrating its fortieth year of service to the
community. It is a 501(c)3, membership-based non-profit organization whose mission is to value and
nuture individual creativity, along with the historical, cultural, and environmental resources of the
Sautee and Nacoochee valleys and surrounding areas.
