Sandra McCallister, age 65, passed away Thursday, September 9, 2021.
Sandra was a member of Union Grove Congregational Holiness Church and was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.
Sandra was born on November 27, 1955, to the late Gordon Wade and Fannie Bentley.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Farrell McCallister; son, Shane Griffin and siblings; Dot Gerrin, Ronald Wade, and Samuel Wade.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Dale Greenway; step-daughter, Sherry Gailey; grandchildren, Faith and Thomas Davis, Molly Dixon, PearlRuth Moody, Heidi Ryan, Hank Griffin, Linton Adams, Ethan Adams, Cordell, Destiny Adams, Pierceson Greenway; 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Christine Allen, Velda Gerrells; brother, Thomas Wade; sisters-in-law; Frances McCallister and Peggy and Robbie Nelms
Joint funeral services for Shane Griffin and Sandra McCallister will be held at 2pm Monday September 13, 2021 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Chris Anderson, Bishop Kevin Magness, and the Rev. Paul Flynn will officiate. Interment will follow at Union Grove Congregational Holiness Church Cemetery with the Rev. Bobby Ivester officiating.
The family will receive friends for both Shane and Sandra from 11AM – 2PM Monday at the funeral Home.
