Sports – The Warriors were victorious last night when White County took on the West Hall Spartans at home in Region play.

The Lady Warriors were off to an early lead that would only increase throughout the entire game, ending the first quarter with a substantial points gap of 21 to 2.  This would be repeated for the remainder of the game as the Warriors were able to keep the Lady Spartans to a single-digit score, and the Girls claiming the win with a final of 75 to 4. The Varsity Girls are now ranked 4 and 0 in region play.

The scene would be different when the Varsity Boys game began as the Spartans were able to connect with their first six 3-pointers at the start of the game as the Warriors struggled to climb back out of the deficit that had been created by the end of the first quarter, behind West Hall 20 to 10.  However; the Warriors came back strong putting up another 65 points during the game while only allowing the Spartans to gain another 16.  The Warriors shot over 39 free throws during the game and had 11 different players who scored points in the second half alone. The final score of the game was 75 to 36, White County. 

This brings the Varsity Boys to 4 and 1 in region play and 7 and 5 overall. The next region game will be on Tuesday when the Warriors will travel to Lumpkin County to take on the Indians at 6pm. Catch the action here on your home of the Warriors and the Bulldogs 93.9fm WRWH.
