Roy Lee Loggins Sr. age 69 of Gillsville, Ga passed away July 26th, 2020.
Mr. Loggins was of the Christian faith and a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Roy Lee was a former heavy equipment operator for Inland Containers.
Roy Lee Loggins is preceded in death by his parents, George Williams Loggins and Thelma Stephens along with Stepfather, Jack B Elliott; siblings, Ernest “Red” Loggins, and Jeanette Loggins Allen.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Bobbie Sue Loggins; daughters, Donna Loggins and Ginger Lee Loggins all of Gillsville, Ga; sons, Roy Lee Loggins Jr. of Mississippi and George Kenny Loggins of Gillsville, Ga; grandchildren, Dustin Ray Loggins and Jacob Hunter Loggins; sisters, Virginia Alexander of Louisiana and Doris Loggins Cronan of Cleveland, Ga; brothers, Edward “Curly” Loggins of Demorest, Ga, Chester Loggins of Alto, Ga, and Harold Wayne Loggins of Arkansas.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm Thursday, July 30th at the Barrett Funeral Home Chapel with interment at Union Grove Congregational Holiness Church Cemetery.
A visitation will be held from 12 pm-2 pm Thursday, July 30th at Barrett Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to be made for funeral expenses.
