Robert John Rogoski died on Monday, January 30, 2023.  A Memorial Service will be held for Robert at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL on a date to be announced.

Robert graduated Springstead High School in Spring Hill, Florida in 1990. He then served honorably in the United States Marine Corps as Crash Crew at MCAS New River in Jacksonville, NC from 1990-1994. Robert started as an hourly associate with Wal-Mart in 1994 and spent 24 years earning leadership roles such as Systems Q/A Manager, Operations Manager, and Assistant General Manager of eCommerce. Robert also contributed time and talent to support such organizations as the Special Olympics, United Way, and was president of the Rotary Club of Brooksville, FL.

Robert, along and his wife Kim and bulldog Opie, visited Helen in 2014 to enjoy Oktoberfest. They fell in love with the area, and ultimately moved to Cleveland in October 2019. In September 2020, they opened Helen Hat Company in Helen and in March of 2022, and The Highlands Hatter in Highlands, NC.

Robert was an exemplary Marine, husband, brother, father, grandfather, son, uncle, nephew, cousin, and the best friend anyone could ask for. He loved to see people be successful, and if he could contribute to that, it made him all the happier.

Robert is survived by his wife Kimberly; his daughters Ashley Sidell (Donnie), and Leah Holm; his mother Kathleen Wood; his brothers Jason Rogoski (Meriam Lariosa) and Brian Rogoski; his sisters Michele Pierson (Bill) and Randi Rogoski; and nine grandchildren.  W.R.
