Mr. Riley Crumley, Sr., age 86, of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2020.
Mr. Crumley was born in White County to the late Harvel and Faye Stancil Crumley. He was a farmer, grader, and excavator. Mr. Crumley served in the US Airforce for 23 years.
In addition to parents, Mr. Crumley was preceded in death by his first wife, Elwanda Crumley; brothers, Lavern Crumley and J.K. Crumley; brothers and sisters-in-law, Virgle and Lois Crumley and Cecil and Juanita Crumley; sister, Dorothy Jean Brookshire; and brothers-in-law, Joe Cantrell, Larry Payne, Bobby Black, and Doug Allen.
Survivors include wife, Deborah Crumley, Cleveland; son, Riley Crumley, Jr., Cleveland; son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Beth Crumley, Cleveland; step-daughter and step-son-in-law, Kristine and James Hopkins; step-sons and step-daughters-in-law, Michael and Megan Battibulli and James and Kati Brown; grandchildren, Trey and Lori Crumley, Rory and Dana Crumley, Robbie Crumley, Anna and Jesse Nix, Chase and Brittney Crumley, C.J. Wynn, Megan Nicole Battibulli, Kane Battibulli, Joseph and Abigal Battibulli, Jacob and Ashley Brown; great-grandchildren, Rylee Ann, Preston, Olly, Aliza, Shephard, and Tillie; brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Louise Crumley; sisters, Betty (Crumley) Cantrell, Josephine (Crumley) Payne, Janell (Crumley) Amos, and Janett (Crumley) Allen; sisters and brothers-in-law, Peggy (Crumley) and Phil Abernathy and Mildred (Crumley) and Glenn Rider; sisters-in-law, Jane Crumley and Lavaughn Crumley; brother-in-law, Jimmy Brookshire.
A private burial will be held with a Celebration of Life to be held at a later time. The family requests that everyone stay home and remember the family in your prayers.
