(ATLANTA) – State Representative Victor Anderson (R-Cornelia) was sworn into office as a member of the Georgia House of Representatives on Monday, January 11, 2021, which was the first day of the 2021-2022 legislative term. In addition to being officially sworn in, the Georgia House of Representatives’ Committee on Assignments named Rep. Anderson to the Energy, Utilities & Telecommunications, Governmental Affairs, and State Planning & Community Affairs committees.
“I am excited to have the opportunity to serve on these three House committees for the next two years,” said Rep. Anderson. “I have a history and passion for the energy and telecommunications sector, and as a former county commissioner and chair, I look forward to working to improve governmental and community relations and regulations.”
The House Committee on Assignments, chaired by House Speaker David Ralston (R-Blue Ridge), is charged with making all House committee assignments for the members of the Georgia House of Representatives.
