Michael Renshaw sole finalist for White County Manager

(Cleveland)- The White County Board of Commissioners has announced a sole finalist for the position of White County Manager.

A news release for the commissioners said they have selected Michael R. Renshaw for the position. Renshaw has over 29 years of experience in local government leadership and he is a Credentialed Manager through the International City/County Management Association. He has experience as a county manager for over 10 years, having previously served in that role for Barrow County and Camden, North Carolina.

Renshaw is a veteran of the United States Navy and Persian Gulf War. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and a Master of Public Administration degree from Arizona State University.  

Following the required 14-day waiting period The Commissioners will make their final decision to fill the position related to the candidate at a Called Meeting on Monday, May 23, at 4:30 p.m.
