Mrs. Randy Woody Green, age 76, of Dahlonega passed away Friday, September 11, 2020.
Mrs. Green was born in Lumpkin County on July 1, 1944 to the late Ray and Lou Nell Duff Woody. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Dora Mae Grizzle. In her younger years Mrs. Green loved to spend time working in her garden with her flowers. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and her grandchildren affectionately called her “Granny Green”.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Howard Green, Sr.; daughter and son-in-law Donna and David Barrett; sons and girl friends Howard Green, Jr. and Connie Young, and Feller Green and Jessica Miller, all of Dahlonega; grandchildren Brian Barrett and April Brown, Brandy and Doug Abercrombie, and Angel Green; great-grandchildren Kyle Barrett, Madison Barrett, Kaitlyn Barrett, Brindon Grindle, Mikaela Brown, Brooke Sullens, and Wayne Sullens; sister Carrie Shope, Dahlonega; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Mrs. Green’s wishes were to be cremated and a celebration of her life will be scheduled at a later date.
